Message	I was under the impression that metals or almost any material for that matter become alot less resistant to stress under great changes in temperature. I guess the temp wouldn't be low enough to cause such a drastic reaction, but due to the higher mileage of most of our cars we have to take into consideration the wear and tear the block and other parts of then engine have withstood over the years.
